3.1 Account Requirements

To create and maintain an account, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your account details as needed
• Verify your email address

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities occurring under your account
• Immediately notifying us at support@mintline.ai if you suspect unauthorized access

Mintline is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive activities
• Upload fraudulent, misleading, or third-party documents without authorization
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• Interfere with the Service, servers, or networks
• Use automated scripts, crawlers, or bots to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, copy, or modify the Service
• Resell, lease, or sublicense access to the Service
• Remove or alter proprietary notices, logos, or legal disclaimers

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

5.1 Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the receipts, bank statements, and other materials you upload ("User Content").

By uploading or submitting content, you grant Mintline a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to:

• Process and analyze your documents as part of the Service
• Securely store and back up your data
• Use anonymized and aggregated data to improve AI models and Service performance

5.2 Data Accuracy

Our AI technology strives for high accuracy, but may occasionally produce errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying extracted data before relying on it.

5.3 Data Backup

We maintain regular backups for operational continuity, but we recommend you retain your own copies of essential financial documents.

6.1 Subscription Plans

Mintline offers subscription-based plans with varying features and usage limits. Current pricing and features are listed on our Pricing page.

6.2 Payment Terms

• Fees are billed in advance, either monthly or annually
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe
• All fees are non-refundable, except where required by law
• You authorize us to automatically charge your selected payment method for recurring fees

6.3 Price Changes

We may revise pricing at any time. You will be notified at least 30 days in advance, and new rates apply from the next renewal period.

6.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription anytime through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No refunds will be issued for partial periods.

7.1 Our IP Rights

The Service, including all underlying software, design, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Mintline or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

7.2 Trademarks

"Mintline" and related logos are trademarks of Mintline You may not use our marks without express written consent.

7.3 Feedback

If you submit suggestions, ideas, or feedback, you grant Mintline a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without compensation or obligation.

8.1 Service Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8.2 No Financial or Legal Advice

Mintline provides organizational and automation tools only. We do not provide financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice. You are responsible for consulting qualified professionals before making decisions based on processed data.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mintline shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Errors or omissions in data extraction or matching

Total liability for all claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Mintline in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8.4 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mintline, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your User Content or misuse of the Platform

10.1 Termination by You

You may delete your account or cancel your subscription at any time. All outstanding charges remain payable.

10.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

• Breach these Terms
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities
• Pose a risk to security, system integrity, or other users

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your access to the Service will cease immediately
• Your data may be deleted after 30 days, unless retention is required by law
• You remain responsible for fees incurred prior to termination

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

11.3 Alternative Dispute Resolution

We encourage users to contact us first to attempt informal resolution by emailing legal@mintline.ai.

12.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Mintline.

12.2 Modifications

We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12.3 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms remains in effect.

12.4 Waiver

Failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

12.5 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. Mintline may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

12.6 Force Majeure

Mintline shall not be liable for any delay or failure due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or technical failures.
