Bank Statements

Upload PDF bank statements to import transactions for matching with receipts.

How It Works

1

Upload PDF

Upload your bank statement PDF file. Most banks let you download statements from online banking.

2

AI Parsing

Our AI reads the PDF and extracts each transaction with date, description, and amount.

3

Ready to Match

Transactions are automatically matched against your receipts.

Supported Formats

Mintline works with PDF statements from most banks. Our AI is trained to parse various statement formats including:

  • Standard bank statements (Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc.)
  • Credit card statements (Amex, Visa, Mastercard)
  • European bank formats (IBAN-based statements)
  • Business account statements

If your statement format isn't recognized, contact support and we'll add support for it.

Extracted Data

For each transaction, Mintline extracts:

transactionDate

When the transaction occurred

description

The merchant name or transaction description

amount

Transaction amount

type

Debit or credit

Tips

Use official PDFs

Download statements directly from your bank's website for best results. Scanned paper statements may have lower accuracy.

Monthly statements work best

Standard monthly statements are easiest to parse. Custom date ranges or partial statements may have formatting issues.
